The trails are situated in a forested area aproximately 1 square kilometre. The trails are mainly sandy, and are constantly going up and down the escarpment.
Trail access -- there are many roads that have the trail off of it. The best place to park would be at J W Trusler Public School on Cartier St. It is about 3 blocks from a trail entrance. The entrance is located at the corner of Champlain St and Hearst St.
