Orgel or better known as "Sam" to his friends at work, was a brakeman with the railroad at Union Station in Washington D.C. where he retired from after 40+ years of faithful service in 19. He passed away in North Carolina after loosing a battle with emphasemya and chronic heart failure in 1993. Although he is not with us in body this day, he is with us in heart and spirit always. Im sure that for our family not a day will ever go by that one of us doesnt think of him. Elton H. Orgel left behind his wife of 60+ years Emily L. Orgel, a son James E. Orgel, two daughters Elizabeth A.. Geron and Shirley H. Fergus. He also left behind 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. |
