Foxy Brown
1974
Directed by Jack Hill and starring Pam Grier, Booker Bradshaw, Antonio Fargas & Sid Haig

Blaxploitation goddess, Pam Grier returned to the screen shortly after starring in 1973's Coffy to continue battling drugs, the mob, the man, and social indifference in this, arguably her most famous role up until 1999's Jackie Brown.
The opening credits alone are worth the price of renting this on video. Pam (as Foxy) struts, pouts, models and does kung-fu in a fabulous array of crime-busting outfits to the way cool Willie Hutch soundtrack. The action continues from the first scene when we are introduced to Foxy's brother, Link (Antonio Fargas) who, it seems owes $20K to the mob. Two goons who work for head mobster and creepy madame, Miss Katherine (Kathryn Loder)
"the darker the berry, the sweeter the juice, honey"
"you pink-assed corrupt honkey judge! you take
your little
wet noodle outta here and if you see a man anywhere, send him in because i do need a man!"

"you're gonna have to kill me.., or i'll kill you."
