UNIT OVERVIEW |
This unit should take roughly 8 classes (45-50 minutes each) to complete. Students will require access to computers, wordprocessing software, and the Internet at all times. One of the sites to be visited requires a plug-in (Windows Media Player). Please ensure that all computers have this program installed prior to beginning the unit. An introductory lesson on Internet usage has been included. It is recommended that students become familiar with proper Internet navigation, security, and referencing before embarking on this unit. It is expected that all assignments and activities in this unit be completed by students during class time, however, students will be expected to make up missed or incomplete work during their own time. Please see the end of each individual lesson for ideas for differentiation. |
