  • Gravity Kills
    Gravity Kills

Polished first effort by the band with the hit song from Seven "Guilty". A good all around album but lacks true intensity and emotion. In fact in some spots it sounds like going through the motions.

  • KMFDM
    NIHIL

Excellent! If you didn't know better you'd think these guys were machines. KMFDM has been around a long while and I have 4 of their albums and this is my favorite so far. While not being a pioneer of Industrial they are without a doubt one of the defining members of the genre. Where KMFDM leads other follow. Heavy loops with razor wire guitars and ultraslick production savvy have you bouncing off the walls and looking for something to beat up. NIHIL has two famous tracks included upon it one is JukeJoint Jezebel which was used in the live action Mortal Kombat film and the other is Ultra which was featured in Street Fighter the Animated Movie providing the auditory setting for the Chun Li vs. Vega scene. It is fast driving and punishing. Such tracks as Flesh and Brute are excellent and none of the music is slow or lame or showing a soft side. KMFDM is unrelenting in their attack and thank the gods for that because I wouldn't have it any other way. If you're tired of waiting for the new Nine Inch Nails album(s) and need a fix of the similar stuff then try out KMFDM and see what you think. Just don't look for a condolency card if you can't handle it!

  • Ministry
The Land of Rape and Honey

Pioneers in the field that is now called Electronica this is the defining album in the Ministry discography. Containing fast as lightning beats, razor edged guitar sounds, and distortion box vocals. What some would call noise I would prefer to see as daring new artistry.

  • Ministry
A Mind is a Terrible Thing to Taste

This is truly what AlternaLectricDanceStyleIndustrial is all about! This album rocks even harder than I remembered and I am so glad to have it again. You know I will always have a spot in my heart for Psalm 69 but I really think this might be even better than Psalm! Ministry is like a lot of the stuff I have a tendency to listen to, you either love it or you despise it! That's o.k. with me but just give it a chance is all I ask. If you don't like Ministry then you'll hate this too. What can I say, definitely worth a listen.

  • Nine Inch Nails
    Haloes 1 through 12

I could never ever say enough about Trent Reznor's talent and insight. No one can make a bunch of digitized, synthesized and sequenced music sound so good. Organic, serrated, acidic and bittersweet by turns, this music saved my life in the most literal sense. If you can't appreciate at least some of his works you need to assess your views and opinions and wonder if you didn't get dropped on your cranium multiple times as an infant and through your formative years.

No that isn't a link, it's the name of the album and a good album it is. A fusion of new sample heavy and metronomic precision type of music. All done with an old school punk/angst flair that makes this album irresistably fresh and interesting. A must listen.

  • The Prodigy
    The Fat of The Land

A great album with a lot of low end for the Home Theater or Auto Bass Head. Not much in the way of lyrical content but it seems pretty gritty and very well polished.
    N8 R8: 7.8

  • ThePropellerheads
    DECKSDRUMSANDROCKANDROLL

An almost unrivaled album of great electronic orchestration. I would hazard to say that they are the Pink Floyd of the Electro movement. Unbelievable goodness is contained herein
