    Insane Clown Posse
The Great Milenko [Island Records Ver.]

Ah yes, the Great Milenko. ICP did their best to be in front of any controversy they could back in 1998 and it seemingly has worked well for them. They are now known nation wide and even have a movie due out in spring '99. This album is great and features appearances from Alice Cooper (Ironic seeing as ICP ARE the Alice Cooper of Rap!), Slash and yet another guitarist from somewhere. A really strong effort with no discernible weak spots. It covers all the ICP bases and is the 4th Jokers Card. A very accessible record in the fact that it is almost a rock/rap type of album. Not to worry though Violent J and Shaggs don't try and start singing in key, and that's probably good seeing as it would likely be a lost cause. If you like drinking, kung-fu movies, pop culture references, wrestling and violent comedy this is the ticket for you. Just don't forget to drop by the Funhouse for your complimentary 2 liter of Faygo, and here's a lil' tip, for a buck ya get a Chicken Neck with that! Right on, Wicked Clowns will never die!

  • Korn
    Follow the Leader

Just as I feared. Korn is now just a little too polished (studiowyse) and some tracks are just a little too shiny. I still really like this album a lot. It will not have you feeling as dirty and gritty as their self titled Korn. Bright spots definitely have to include Children of the Corn (w/ Ice Cube), All in the Family (w/ Limp Bizkit), Dead Bodies Everywhere, and Pretty. All in all it definitely is a must have for fans of current heavy music. I do have to say that I miss the old ass underproduced Korn though. Then again doesn't the saying go "If you're not progressing then you're regressing?" If that's true then Korn aren't backpedalling a single inch.

  • Less Than Jake
    Losing Streak

These guys kick ass. If you like ska/punk than run out and buy this album quick. Their sound is less ska than AquaBats, or Voodoo Glowskulls and a lot more punk than Reel Big Fish. For those of you who have heard the band, this album contains re-recorded versions of Johnny Quest thinks we're sellouts, and Jen doesn't like me anymore. The bottom line is buy this album, you'll like it. It's much better than festering boils on your genitalia. Go get it.
