    Whitey Ford sings the Blues

Definitely this album will be more palatable to the House of Pain fan than people who like "What It's Like" (the first single from this CD). There are some more songs of the type of "What It's Like" but the majority of the album consists of the more House of Pain type ego style rap. I found this to be mildy dissappointing. The whole "I am better than you" style went out a while ago as far as I knew but Everlast seems to be hanging onto it and milking it for all that it's worth. It is a fairly good album but just don't expect more of the storytelling and mellow sounding style found on "What It's Like", if ya missed the House then go for it, if you want progression along with simplistic but soulful instrumentation then you need to look elsewhere. Two other songs are worth mentioning are "Painkillers" and "The Ends" both of which I actually like quite a bit. This album is good, it just so happens that the single is misleading in almost every way. Kind of like 1997z "Fly" from Sugar Ray.
