Thanks for the advice. Actually, I'm not unhappy with the traffic. I'm
averaging over a hundred hits a day and the real promo has not even begun
(and yes, both books have heavy pitches for the site.)
You're no doubt right about the placement of the Subscribe boxes, but they
are sprinkled over the links -- it just seems like more than 50 or whatever
folks would have signed up by now, given 2,000 total.
I had a brainstorm last night re getting the site to go viral. I'm gonna
chuck the Paradise giveaway (for now) and sub another. The attached is going
into the contest box -- and yes, you're right, it should be on "both" home
pages. See what you think of this. If it works, it might work huge, given
the nature of geometrical progressions.
