We have a 5 gallon tank in our bedroom that has a catfish (Stone Cold) in it. We think he may be a channel cat and are looking forward to seeing how big he gets. He loves to eat feeder fish and hot dogs. He also likes to dig holes in the rocks in the bottom of his tank.
We also have a 40 gallon tank. The fish in this tank changed a lot in the first two months he have had it. We lost a few angels, a catfish, 2 plattys, a swordfish, and a dragon. We had a Goulrami, but took her back to the store because she was picking on the other fish too much.
We currently have 1 platty (Mickey), a plecostamis (Haas), 2 pictus catfish (one named Minny-Me, the other has not been named yet), 2 bala sharks (one named Chopper, the other has not been named yet), a red tail shark (Razor), 3 tetras (The Three Amigos), a botia (Digger), 2 swordfish (not named yet), and 2 yellow and white angels and a black angel (not named yet).
The Three Amigos are down to Two Amigos as we lost a tetra while out of town for Thanksgiving.
The fish are a lot of fun to have and to watch. It is relaxing to listen to the air bubbles from the tank and to watch them and what they do. they all have such different personalities.
We have a new iguana, Chloe, that we got the day that Meekah died. She was quite young when we got her. She is very hyper and difficult to catch. She loves to eat cantelope. She is growing quickly. We enjoy watching her grow.
