GIFTSNC is a special place for parents who homeschool one or more children with physical, developmental, medical, communication or learning challenges. GIFTSNC is the place to discuss and exchange ideas regarding: curriculum choices and modifications, medical and therapy issues, providing social opportunities and so much more. GIFTSNC is a place where we can support each other as we work to meet the daily challenges of rearing, guiding and teaching all our children. A brief, family bio is required and will be requested on all pending memberships. This bio will also be used as an introduction to the group.
We are a grassroots group of home educators striving to protect our freedom to homeschool here in the Tarheel State. Here at the NC Homeschool Legislatve Watch, we share and discuss legislative and other legal issues which could have a direct impact upon our rights to homeschool independently. Feel free to peruse our links and files, take part in discussion on current issues, share pertinent information, and help monitor for bills which might impact NC homeschooling. .

Welcome! This is a list for Catholic homeschoolers in NC and SC to keep in touch, share ideas, inspire, and encourage each other in our call to homeschooling. We are diverse types of people and our philosphies of homeschooling may be different from one another at times, but we are all faithful to the Magisterium and the teachings of the Holy Catholic Church. We desire to raise our children to the glory of God, here in God's country- the Carolinas!
