| How hard is it to stay connected to someone that lives far away? I mean, is it impossible? I don't think so. Does distance limit how close you can be to someone? Maybe. In a perfect world, it wouldn't matter. Maybe, if two people really cared, if they really really wanted to, they could be close (real close) no matter what the distance is between them. We have long range cheap communication now? E-mail is free. Is E-mail enough for this close friendship? No. I don't think E-mail is enough. The two would have to talk on the phone every once in a while. And the two would have to see each other every once in a while. Do our busy lives keep us from staying constantly in communication? I think communication is the most important thing to stay close. Without communication the two halves drift apart. It isn't easy to do. But distance is not invincible. Distance came be overcome. Determined People can do anything. |
