| Tea is good when it is hot: "a nice hot cup of tea". Tea is good when it is cold: "a refreshing iced tea". Why? Why doesn't anyone want lukewarm tea. Why must our tea be at an extremity of temperature? What is it about this leaf water that makes it (and only it) have this odd property? Perhaps we will never know the answers to these questions, but if we did, we would probably know a lot more about the universe. |
