The following are letters from the students the first grade class of Holland Elementary School of Virginia Beach,Va. When they learned that their teacher's husband deployed, they were very interested and curious to find out more. As part of their love and support, they started a letter writing campaign to the sailors of the USS Nashville. Everything is being typed as they wrote it, misspellings and all. Here are a few of those letters:
