ONGOING EVENT - Building the Lei for Homecoming
Contact kerri Quispe to arrange a time to help build the Lei for the ship for Homecoming Day. You can e-mail her at [email protected] or call her at 502-0189. It will be at her house in her garage for anyone who wants to help finish it. Just give her a heads up the day before you want to come. The Lei will be too heavy and large to transport and we believe it would be easier this way. There will be no organized get together to work on it. Just anyone who has some time.

15th - Final FSG Meeting and Halloween Party
Location To Be Announced, 6:00pm
Join the group as we celebrate the final meeting before Homecoming, and finalize plans for the big day. We will be having a Halloween Party (since we will all be busy with our Sailors and Marines on Halloween).

19th - Sign Making
City View Park, Virginia Beach, 1:00pm until 3:00pm
Take I-64 to the Indian River Road East exit. Go to the second light (which is Centerville Tpk) and turn right. Go down to Kempsville and turn right. Take a right at the Monument Drive light into City View Park.
Join us to make a sign for your loved one returning home. The group will provide the markers, paint, and posterboards. Bring a lunch if you wish and smocks for you and your children.

23rd - Tiger Cruise Assembly
Main Gate Theaters at NOB, 5:15am
Take I-564 to Adm. Taussig Blvd (the road the hwy end into). Turn Left at the light into the NEX and Commissary Complex. Follow Mall Drive around to the Main Gate Theaters (on the right, across from Applebee's). We will assemble in front of the front doors. (see map below)
All Tigers must meet up no later than 5:15am to board the buses to Morehead City for the tiger cruise.
