A Letter from the Committee
Hi everyone,
I first would like to thank everyone, who donated items for the garage sale. Even though it rained, it was a big success. The fundraising group was able to make $210.10 ! Thanks again to Stacie, Janet and Robin for helping out. We still have lot's to get rid of, so on June 7th from 7-12 pm, we will be doing the garage sale again. For anyone who has items, that you would like to donate to the group, we will be more then happy to get rid of them for you. Please bring them to the next FSG meeting, on May 21, or you can call me and we can make arrangements to have it dropped off at my house. The fundraising group will also be doing a Clothing Exchange on June 14th, from 12-4 pm. Directions will be posted on the website under Calendar of events, just click on that day. There will be a cover charge of $3.00 at the door, and that money will be going to the fundraising committee for the homecoming. Friends and Family are welcome to attend. Refreshments will be provided. I will need to start taking clothing donations now , so if you have any items of clothing, that are in good shape please let me know or bring those as well to the FSG meetings. Make sure, that if it's something that needs to be on a hanger,plaese drop it off that way, and I will put your name on the hanger and get it back to you. Purses, shoes, hats, belts and jewelry are also okay to donate. For those of you who have never been to a Clothing Exchange, this is how it works. You donate any items of clothing or accessories, and you leave with whatever you like. There is no limit. It's just a fun way to get together and find something new to wear!! Kids are welcome.
I also have the t-shirts that the group ordered , so until they are gone, I will be bringing them to all of the FSG meetings and functions, for those of you who would like to purchase them. I cannot take orders, so if you want to buy them, you need to come to the meetings. They look great !!! Thanks again for everyones help with the garage sale, and t-shirts!
