This is a collection of some of the poems I've written.  I've written alot by now. Some are pretty  long and some are kind of short.  I started writing poetry when I was about 8 or 9.  I'll denote the ones that have been published but most of them are private poems.

Description:  This poem was just a random inspiration.  To tell the truth I just wanted to use the line 'there is no solace in sorrow'.  Good alliteration.

Description:  I wrote this because i always found myself saying "I'm sorry."  It seemed like no matter how hard I tried I just couldn't meet everyone's expectations.  It is an expression of my exasperation.

Description:  I don't remember when i wrote this one.  It was my freshman year in Geometry, I remember that.  I wrote it just to get access to poetry.com to look at a friends work.  Ironically they chose it for some award and kept bugging me to go to Virginia put I'm poor so...no.  I personally don't think this one's so great.

Description:  I wrote this poem mostly for my baby Laura.  The love in the roses is my Mom that died and the one in the thorns is my biological mom because shes always hurting me with her drugs and lies.

Description:  This poem was inspired by my biological mother who abandoned me and my grandmother adopted me.  She would always come and then leave so here's my anger for that.

Description: I was about 13 days into my fight but I knew the enemy was coming.  Worst of all I knew that I probably wouldn't survive.  So in my queit time I wrote this poem reminding me of why I fight and just what I have to lose.
