Soul Blazer |
An RPG by Enix that sort of has a linked story line with Actraiser. You are a soul sent down from the heavens to release trapped souls in monsters lairs. Every time you kill all the monsters in a lair you can seal it and when you do something happens. This ranges from a passageway opening up to releasing people and buildings in the village. A nice idea and a good game. Why the level system on this game goes to 99 I dont know as you only need about 38 to finish it easily. I got to level 99 and the end boss took one hit to kill!! |

Super Double Dragon |
The 4th in the double dragon series and by far the best. The game is slow moving but packed with little extra moves like grabbing peoples arms and kicking them repeatedly round the head. Many people did not like this game but I think it is great. |

Super Ghouls and Ghosts |
The classic arcade game gets an outing on the SNES. This game features the great old arcade music that you love and the piss you off game play that for some reason keeps you coming back for more. Plenty of hard annoying levels that you just cannot do some days (ghost ship) and the usual trademark Capcom end boss that take's up the whole screen. |

Super Metroid |
This is a really nice well polished game that has that old Nintendo class that makes you keep coming back to play it again and again. The 3rd Metroid game with one appearing on the NES and two on the Gameboy. The best thing about this game is that it is a Metroid game with a bloody map. The only thing that lets this down is the fact that you cannot die on the end boss what so ever. |

Super Street Fighter 2 |
Who hasnt heard of the street fighter games? This is about the 5,000th version (if you count the dodgy chip versions) of the game and the first to add new characters, not including making the bosses playable. This game was also the first 32-bit cartridge for the SNES and the best beatumup on the SNES. |
