Final Fight

The king of side scrollers, Final fight did to the side scroller what street fighter did to the Beatumup. The SNES version lost three things in the conversion, the two-player option, the character Guy and the industrial level. Capcom released two versions of this game Final Fight and Final Fight Guy (pictured left). The only differance between the normal and guy was that the industrial level was put back and Cody was replaced with guy. Why they left all this stuff out I dont know as Final Fight 2 and 3 on the SNES are both two players and have 3-4 characters to chose from.

Hook

Dont let looks deceive you even though this platformer is very slow moving it is a classic game. Based on the film it has all the characters and the cool film sound track. Even though most magazines gave this about a 70% mark give this game a try you will not be disappointed.

Jurassic Park

A fun game with one, sorry two major problems. First there is no save what so ever and since the game takes at least four and a half hours to finish it can get very annoying. Second if you do finish it the ending is just the map at the beginning with the words CONGRATULATIONS (@*$&~# game). Apart from that its a good game, but you spend more time just seeing how may dinosaurs you can kill due to the lack of the save.

King Arthers World

Lemmings with knights, castles and a sound track to die for. Solve puzzles storm castles and defeat huge ogres and war machines. Being a war strategy as well as a puzzler this would have been amazing if it had a two-player function in it.

Mario Kart

What can be said about the king of racing games? Nothing has come close since this came out back in 92. There was a sequel on the N64 but it was just crap. Not as good one player but excelled in it two player from normal races to the battle mode.
