Chrono Trigger
The best SNES Rpg in my opinion. A friend�s transporter machine goes wrong and you end up travelling through time. This adds some nice touches to the game as something you do in the past affects something in the future. There are also about 11 different endings depending on what you do. Like always form Squaresoft an excellent Rpg.
Dragon Ball Z 2
This was the game that was responsible for me getting interested in DBZ. It made such a change from seeing all the Street Fighter clones, with their punching and kicking to seeing people throwing fireballs that could do more damage than a Nuclear missile.
Dragon Ball Z: Hyper Dimension
This is the best DBZ fighting game on the SNES. This puts the games on par with the some of the Playstation DBZ games. It does not have the split game screen as in two but has the option to knock your opponent to different screens, left, right, up and down. It has the normal super fireballs that you expect with DBZ, but you can dodge these more easily now by doing a background attack.
Donkey Kong Country 2
When the first donkey Kong country game came out on the SNES it amazed many in the gaming industry by showing what the SNES was capable of graphically. There were 3 DKC games the second being the best by far. Well there is not a lot I can really say about the best platformer on the SNES, just play it!
Final Fantasy 3
The famous Squaresoft series really kicked off with this title. In Japan this is known as Final Fantasy 6 as all the Final Fantasy games were not released in the USA.
Not as good as seven on the Playstation but has the best story line out of all eight. Also a rare Rpg title as you understand what is happening after only ten minutes. Well worth the 25+ hours to play.
