History: Brea was born into a small pride whose territory was relatively close to the human village and to Kube-Sha. She formed a very close relationship with her cousin, who was her inseparable companion since they were cubs. There was a dry season which forced the pride to move into new lands. In these new lands, Brea and her cousin met a male who impressed them with his good looks large size. Both lionesses fell in love with this lion, but it was Brea who won his heart. The pride had to return to their original territory, and Brea was forced to leave her lover, as her father considered him to be a threat. Upon returning home, Brea discovered that she was pregnant and went to her cousin, looking for help to escape and find the father of her cub. Her cousin was jealous and thought of a plan to get rid of Brea: she directed her towards traps set by humans from the village. As Brea desperately cried out for help, her cousin mocked her to her face, telling her that now she would be with the lion, who would never go and look for her since he didn't truly love her.
Brea's capture was made all the more terrible by the cruel words of her cousin. For a long time she hoped her lover would rescue her, but she never saw him again; nor did she even hear his roar from the village zoo. Brea's noble soul was filled with hatred and bitterness, and she stopped eating, hoping to die. But, remembered the cub she carried in her womb, she found a motive to continue living. While she waited for Natu's birth, she made extensive plans in which her cub would escape and later return to free her.
The day Natu was born, there were many people in princes Lianka's home, as it was her birthday. Brea tried to hide her cub in the corner of her cage, but the cries of the small lion attracted the princess' servants who immediately took the animal as a gift for their mistress.
Upon losing her son, Brea became an uncontrollable beast. Her ferocity terrified any who came near her cage, and there were few who dared to even feed her. Lianka did like that she was so violent, and showed her off to whoever visited her zoo; all while keeping Natu far from the area. A long time passed, and the lioness's health was deteriorating. She spent the time lying in a secluded corner and wouldn't even respond when someone struck the bars of her prison. Since she was no longer lively, Lianka ordered that she be released into the forest. Once free, Brea when to visit Natu and tried to convince him to flee with her; but she was greatly pained to see that her son was happy being a human, and she never returned to find him. She made her way towards the lands where she was once happy, and hidden among the weeds, discovered to her great sadness that her parents had died. The leader of the pride was now the father of Natu, who had five young daughters with her cousin, who was now his wife. Brea's heart could bear it no longer, and she died, filled with bitterness and loneliness. Brea's cousin found her remains and realized how much damage she had done. She confessed her deeds to her husband, who despised her for it as she has lied to him; telling him that Brea had left with another lion, and also hiding Natu's existence. Unable to bear her remorse, the treacherous lioness ended her days, throwing herself into a ravine.
