Hi, Nippon Soccer Manias;
I heard a interesting news from a newspaper & a TV news. This news
was about Hidetoshi Nakata. They said that Nakata's grandfather
was Korean. But in Japan, most of Korean-Japanese doesn't wanna
reveal that they are Korean, I heard. They hide they're Korean. The
news paper (Sports Chosen, one of the 3 Sports paper in Korea) and
TV news (MBC sports news) also said that Nakata and his parents didn't
accept the news. I heard Koreans reveal they are Korean, they get
disadvantages in Japan, is that really true? The media said that they
got the resource from Asahi newspaper. Asahi was preparing the special
report about Koreans in Japan. So they chased Nakata's root of blood
and found that Nakata's grandfather was Korean who went to Japan. It
could be a just gossip news. But many Koreans who are using PC net,
feel irony that the main player who is leading Japan soccer, is in
Korean blood. Some people said that it isn't important whether he is
Korean-Japanese or not, important thing is that Japanese soccer
developed so rapidly, so we must try to keep the top position of Asian
soccer, instead of thinking this useless news. I feel also ironic. I
just wanna see your thoughts about this news. You, soccer mania, may
not know this news. I heard that JFA and Nakata don't wanna reveal that.
It's not important if he's in Korean blood or not. The important thing
is why Korean-Japanese feel afraid to say that they are Korean.
