Mysterious_Elf_�s last news update, ever. Maybe some of my old members, old team mates, old friends will stumble onto this site one day....and maybe, just maybe they will read my words and smile. I don�t regret the many hours I spent on the zone simply because, not of a great fantastic game I played, but because of the people I met through it. Age of Empires: Rise of Rome � I don�t think a mere computer game has ever brought together such a variety of interesting characters. But sadly the community has died...nothing lasts forever? I have updated the members list, the few active members have a 'Active on RoR' next to their name in brackets. Not sure which direction this clan is heading in, but I do know one thing - RoR has no future for ANY clans. 13th May 2004 - Mysterious_Elf_

Don't worry this will continue to be the most updated site in the RoR commuinty.Not that there really is one these days.Don't fear.Elf is here. The whole point of Elf is to get together a small comminuity of RoR players.Gurkha is suposedly updating the site,not sure if he is.Smoothed out my picture.Perhaps Elf should expand to another game? North_Kid_Elf_ ,siLLy_Elf_ and uGLy_Elf_ have all left the clan,Elf is getting weak? No Elf is gettings,stronger,the weak links are leaving. Elf declares all out war with the Inc clan .We will rip them to pieces,they stand no chance.They remind me of _KEEPERoF_ when citizen was leader,a few good players joined we thought we rocked,they left we died.Simple.Inc clan is made of mostly clan whores,the foundations of a strong clan? I am very disapointed to have to inform you that Tenacious_Elf_ has left the clan.The reasons are between me and him.One of the resons is the fact that he is paranoid.He thinks that 20% of rmers cheat,and 15% of Dmers cheat,lol.I belive he is now playing Counter Strike.In other news please all welcome SketchiE_Elf_ to the clan.KeeI3ler_Elf_ has changed his name back to uGLy_Elf_. 19th June 2004 - Mysterious_Elf_

EagleEye_Elf_ has left the clan.He has joined Hey (lol maybe I when't on about Hey "Good clan will last along time,strong leadership etc etc" a bit too much,I should have just kept my mouth shut and said that every clan apart from Elf sucks lol)Elf wishes him luck in Hey.I shouln't go on about it but RoR numbers really do seem worse than they were,even though I have seen a few very very old players about.After two days of solid searching I found a CD KEY that works for Half Life online,but when I try and play DoD or CS it tells me that I have been banned intill 2008 for cheating,lol.I am searching for another game to launch Elf in,this clan has been so much fun,and has lasted so long,but RoR will not live for ever and it is only certainty that Elf will die with it inless I expand the clan into another game.Gurkha plays DoD,but he is already in a clan,besides I hear that you have to pay(!) to put up a clan server,which inless some very kind member offers to pay for it,I am not going to do.Besides I can't play on Steam which is the server most players use (Its the 2nd most unstable Prog I have ever used (1st is Windows) ) so I am forced to use GameSpy.Maybe if someone pays for Microsoft to bring out another Patch for RoR which adds new units or maps,or anything that will attract interest.Maybe if all the active RoR players scrap together some money we could pay for RoR to be Advertised on TV.Maybe we could randomly ring people up and tell them about RoR and how adictive it is,no wait maybe they will tell the National Health service what a bad effect it is having on people and close down RoR on the Zone,and make it class A drug due to high addictivness risk. Maybe we should pay a hacker to bring down the Steam service so that all the Cs and DOD and half Life players will be forced to play elsewhere,no wait Steam is already down most of the time so half the players wouldn't even notice.Maybe most of the RoR players just got a life rather than moved on to another game.What happened to all the Koreans? Most of them seem to play Rm anyways,maybe they also decided to open there doors and discover what color the sun is.I don't know.I heard that the longest game ever is 24 hours,how can someone play 1 game for so long? I get bored after 1 hour let alone 24.You will have to ask LZ_Mordan.Maybe I am just writing a long message just for the sake of writing a long message,I don't know,maybe its because I have the feeling that I won't be updating the news as much as I used to, I am not sure.Gurkha told me that the FBI are forcing all major computing companies such as Windows to make backdoors in their systems that they can then plug into and spy on people.In Windows cause it would more be a cause of them telling the FBI the backdoors rather than making them.I don't know if anyones noticed but I tried getting that Rated Rooms back up ( I managed to get it up to about 11 players),I had more positive response from players than I thought,but I gave up when I remembered what the used to be like,with its cheating and pullers,people just doing anything to get a high rating, which is not what the games about. Gurkha will hopefully be able to fix the site song,I am going to Ireland for a week,I had plans to upload all ss today,but I just don't have the time.Tried getting into TC but I then remembered what happned when me and EagleEye tried getting into it,we played it online for a few days then whent straight back to RoR.Its just not the same.Nothing like the speed and fun of RoR,well,see you guys in week then :-) 3rd April 2004 - Mysterious_Elf_
