A New Year with New Problems

Last week some amazing new chapters appeared in The Book. There are also some very intriguing incites into Mar's growth as a Psion contained in his journal as well as a third Hard lesson learned. Not only that, the map has been updated as well. Truly a wonder, but alas, apparently not without some personal risk.

As has been my habit,  I immediately committed the new chapters to memory and began telling them to my adoring (and somewhat demanding) public. "Kholm the Swift" and "Crusty Magic" have been fairly well received, but none can surpass the twists and turns of "Ujaset's Tail" ... it gets better every time I tell it.

But now something strange and definitely foreboding has happened.

I've been feeling "watched" for days now and last night a strange letter has shown up in The Book that has no business being there. But I thank the gods that it is.

It seems that my person is in some jeopardy. I'll be leaving my beloved Balder's Gate tonight under cover of darkness, and will hopefully get out of the city unnoticed (with the help of a few well place bribes of course).

I think my only hope for salvation is to seek out those intrepid adventures The Myriad Veritas and hope that they will render me some assistance.
