From the journal of Conor Llyldferg:

More bothersome news has come out of the Wealdath and beyond. Hunters are reporting on a disturbing lack of wildlife, especially deer, in the region and the Black Sword Man is still making trouble with the portals. The Archdruid and Constable have both requested that we hang around and remain at their disposal. While that's fine for now, things have a way of changing on us.

From the journal of Conor Llyldferg:

Two druids have been reported missing or dead north of Mosstone. We're asked to investigate and retrieve any bodies.

oh well, I'm a musician, not and artist.

It took only a half-day to reach the site. As we approached, the forest thinned and opened up to reveal a small algae-choked, marshy lake  with an island in the middle. From our vantage, the island seemed completely taken up by a stone building.

We quickly located the bodies in the water close to shore. One man had a single knife wound in his chest and the other was still clutched a dagger that was plunged into his own heart. Odd.
