It's been so long since the last update even I, "The Greatest Bard in Balder's Gate", had to go back and review my previous musings.

Here we are coming up on the Winter Solstice, and unbelievably there have only been five times in the last three quarters of a year that I have seen the tell-tale glow between these magical page and felt the gentle warmth of change through the cover. But this time it was different. Intense. I'll probably have to pay for the small desk that the book was sitting on, unless a local carpenter can remove the scorch marks left by the book's newest changes.

I was sitting at the desk when it happened. As I was putting the finishing touches on my newest song "The Island: A Wicked Tale of Deceit Among Friends", a dazzling light from the book flashed so brightly that I was briefly afraid that I would heretofore be known as "The Greatest Blind Bard of Balder's Gate". But, thank the gods, it was only temporary.

While the pages were still almost too hot to touch (for I could not wait for them to cool), I gingerly leafed through the new additions and discovered such wonders as I had not seen since I first new the book to be enchanted.

Not the least of which is a completely new version of the Timeline, now known on the pages as "The Record". The banner shall be changed as soon as I can find someone with some tailoring skills.

The pages aren't cooling off. I think there's more to come ...
