Highharvestide has come and gone with nary a spark from the enchanted tome. Then, as I lay down in the wee hours of this morning, after long hours reciting tales of heroism and singing songs of love and loss to a crowded common room, the room seemed to shimmer, and with a somewhat sickly pop, I knew that something had happened. There was the usual sense of newness in the book as I lifted it and the inside was warm ... but not as warm as it should have been. There would be only a little new material this time.

There are some new pages in Mar's Journal recounting the party's dicey encounter with an ettin that was more then he appeared. And there's a new section of Mar's that is sure to become a classic reference for new and old adventurers alike.

I can only hope that this enlightening but diminutive addition to this Book of Wonders is just a precursor of more to come ...
