 Punkhie
Punkh, a beautiful blue budgie, was two months old when he was adopted on November 28th, 2005. It was one of my countless trips that I make to the local Super Pet when I dragged John and Rish with me to look at all the pretty babies:). When John finally got tired of me just going in, eyeing them and coming back out, that he decided to get Punkhie for me.
Punkh was a quite budgie...sitting there hanging out by himself while all the other birds were playing amongst themselves. He had the most innocent but impish eyes with the most beautiful cobalt blue feathers.
Punkh was placed in a box by a trained professional...and as all new parents...I made sure we drove very slowly and quitely home to make sure not to scare my new baby boy.
I got him home, set up his cage and watched him in amazement and tried to make him feel as comfortable as possible. I put on some soothing 'birdy' music and let him rest in his new home.
