We adopted Pallu baby on May 27, 2006. He was a 6 weeks old violet factor budgie.
Pallu was the type of bird anyone could approach. He was always ready for scratches...you could go on for hours and hours:) And for some reason he loved playing with toes...not his own or even other birds...but human toes....perhaps a foot fetish passed down through his mommy:D.
He would jump onto Richa's toes the minute he spotted them. Innocently and carefully climbing down his cage making sure noone was watching. Then hoping on her feet bopping his head and bumping his beak on the toes:)
Sadly he escaped on May 17, 2007 in the courtyard of our apartment complex. We spotted him in a tree but he was too scared to get down. I begged the fire department to bring him down from a tree but he got scared of the ladder and flew away:( That was the last we saw of him. I hope whereever he is, he is happy. We all miss him very much. |
