| This card was created using several techniques: Heat-embossed strips woven through vellum, Marvy Metallics backgrounds, silver foil edging and layering. Stamps: Postcard Background, Checkered Background and Compass all by Above The Mark. | This was created using Art Instiute Glitter. The image is stamped on acetate and the glitter is glued to the back of the acetate. The glittered "stained glass" window is then sandwiched between cardstock pieces and is visible through an oval window in the top cardstock. Stamps: Saying by PSX. Stained Glass Rose by Rubber Stampede. | |
| This is my favorite Crane card and the one I sent to my first swap. The background is a crane background stamp embossed with gold EP. The foreground is a UTEE tile made with my favorite stamp! Stamps: Crane and Crane Background by JudiKins. | ||
| This Crane card uses Origami paper (crimped) and an embossed corner stamp to create dimension. Stamps: Corner by Hanko Designs. Crane by JudiKins. | ||
| These sleeping mice were painted in Radiant Pearls. The flowers were painted and embossed and the mice were masked. The background was painted and the mice were then completed. Stamps: House Mouse by Stampa Rosa. | ||
| Another House Mouse card using Radiant Pearls and Embossing. Stamps: House Mouse by Stampa Rosa. | ||
| This was made using vellum and background stamping. The small cloud stamp was stamped from center out using increasingly dark dye-based inks. The mother and child were stamped onto vellum and painted with Radiant Pearls (and embossed with Clear EP). Stamps: Small Cumulus Cloud by Stampscapes. Mother and Child by Ducks in a Row. | ||
| This Fan card is a lot of fun. The fan image is stamped and embossed with gold EP. The "window" elements are removed using a craft knife and a backing made with Foil Leaf flakes is put behind the window. All this is layered onto several layers of cardstock, with one layer made using a strip of handmade paper. Stamps: Fan by Hanko Designs. | ||
| This geisha was painted using Radiant Pearls. Stamps: Geisha by Limited Edition. Fan by Unknown. | ||
| This scene is a single stamp by PSX. It was hand painted/shaded with Radiant Pearls. The background paper's color matches the background color of the UTEE tile. Stamps: China Cube #1 by JudiKins, Scene by PSX. | ||
| This was my first attempt at a vellum weave. Marvy Metallics were used to make the strips. Stamps: Frame by All Night Media. Florentine "M" by PSX. | ||
| This is a simple vellum weave card. The method is the same as the card above. Stamps: Leaves Background and Flying Time both by Above The Mark. | ||
| This is my favorite shaker card. The layers are (1) Holographic paper adhered to the back piece of cardstock. (2) Foam board "frame" adhered to the back cardstock with the holographic paper showing through the middle. (3) Inside the foam board frame are sequins with a nice pentagon shape in the middle and a bee charm. (4) Over that is a piece of clear acetate. (5) The top layer is a piece of yellow carnival cardstock. I stamped the cardstock with a hive frame and embossed with black. I also stamped the bee on the same cardtock and cut it out. I used Art Institute glitter on the bee's wings in Bananan. I placed the bee on top of the acetate and used sunflower buttons to accent the card as well as a rafia bow. Stamps: Bee and Frame by My Heart Stamps For You. | ||
| This geisha and entryway are embossed in black detail powder and painted with Radiant Pearls. The background is also Radiant Pearls. Stamps: Geisha and Entryway by Non Sequitur. | ||
| This card is made using a brand-new technique I developed for use with Radiant Pearls. It's a Faux Paste Paper using a simple wash of Radiant Pearls and a trowel from the hardware store. This card is featured on the cover/sleeve of the new Radiant Pearls video! While the results are a bit faint here, the effect is spectacular! The tile is made using UTEE. Stamps: Poetic Prints by Hero Arts. | ||
| This card is made using the same Radiant Pearls Faux Paste Paper technique. Stamps: Flower and Mini Cherry Blossom by Rubber Stampede. Geisha by Paper Parachute. | ||
| This card has a Radiant Pearls background. It is embossed in gold with a circle background stamp and then layered with mulberry paper stamped with a Celtic cirle. Stamps: JudiKins. | ||
| Circles, and more circles! This card uses the same stamping/layering techniques as the one above, but in a different color scheme. Stamps: JudiKins, All Night Media. | ||
