We live in San Jose, California in the Willow Glen neighborhood.

Tom is a transplanted Bostonian, and he claims that the correct way to pronounce Margaret's name is "Mah-grit". Most of Tom's family still live in the Boston area, including Tom's father, son, daughter, grandchildren and many of his siblings (and their families). As you can see, Tom has quite a family! Margaret sticks out like a sore thumb in this picture (it must have been the red shirt). It's not as difficult to spot Margaret than, say, Waldo in a "Where's Waldo" scene, but just TRY and find Tom or his evil "twin" brother Joe!!!!






Tom is a doting father and grandfather. Shamus (a.k.a. "Shay") is Tom's first grandchild, and the first child of Tom's daughter, Heather. Shay is now four years old. Shay loves Buzz Lightyear, sports of all kind and riding his bike. He eats almost anything--even raw onions (he takes after Tom!). He's a happy kid and has computer skills that would rival any professional!

Erin is now two years old. She is a very willful, happy and joyful child. She loves doing belly dances in her bouncy seat, and rocking from side to side when she's sitting on the floor. Her smile can melt any heart! Her frown is so funny--she reminds us of a toothless old woman!






Brendan is the newest Donnelly heir. He's just a few days old in this picture...so peaceful! Brendan is the first child of Tom's son, Marc.


Grandfatherhood agrees with Tom, doesn't it?




Margaret grew up in the Bay Area, and her parents still live on the Penninsula. Margaret's family on her mother's side still resides in the Tokyo area. Margaret had the privilege of seeing them for the first time in almost 30 years this past May. Margaret's family members on her father's side mostly reside in the Bay Area.

We currently have three pets: Screech, a Sun Conure; Click, a Green-Cheeked conure; and William, a cream-colored teddy-bear hamster.

Here's a picture of Screech. Originally, we named him Lance,"but after about one day with him, we changed it to Screech. It fits him--no reason to explain! Screech is about 7 years old, and is very attached to people. He has a quirky personality, and is very friendly with children. Unfortunately, Screech does not enjoy being touched--he gets very irate when someone tries to pet him.

Click has been with us for over two years. We used to have a companion Souance conure, Clack, but they were bonding with each other and not with us, so we decided to place Clack with another bird-lover and work on taming Click. Today, he's a very happy and sweet bird, and he lets Margaret pet him. While he is not as LOUD as Screech, he still can make a ruckus!

William recently passed away. He was about 1.5 years old. Hamsters don't have a long life span, so William is the 4th hamster to grace our home. He was very friendly, loved hamster yogurt drops, and was a very talented hamster ball runner. He'll be missed!

We now have a new member of the family, Cookie the hamster. Cookie is greyish-black with white around his tummy--just like an Oreo cookie, hence his name!
