Ragdolls are large, loving cats with beautiful blue eyes. They are a long haired breed but with a less dense coat than a persian cat. The body is light-colored, with darker Siamese-type points on the face, legs, tail and ears. In most patterns, the points are partly covered with white markings. The ideal Ragdoll is a well balanced cat, with no extreme features.
Ragdolls are slow to mature usually reaching full coat color by two years old.
