The Non-Pedigreed domestic longhair & domestic shorthair is not a specific breed, but have unknown ancestry. They can't be registered in CFA but they can be shown in CFA Cat Shows in the class called "Household Pets". They can be of any color to compete but are not allowed to be "purebreds". They are judged on beauty, personality and healthiness. They must have all of their claws and must be altered. Declawed cats and/or unaltered cats over 8 months old are not allowed to compete in "Household Pet" classes.
