The Mohawk Valley Cat Fanciers Club is a non-profit organization that is affiliated with "The Cat Fanciers Association", the world's largest registry for pedigreed felines.
Our club was established in 1959, and incorporated in 1972. We are a club for cat breeders & exhibitors alike, with a long & colorful history.
Club members are breeders & owners of many different breeds of cats, including non-pedigreed domestic cats. Our member's breeds include American Shorthair, Himalayan,
Japanese Bobtail, Maine Coon, Norwegian Forest Cat, Persian, Ragdoll, Russian Blue
& Siamese (click on the breed name to learn more about each breed)
Every 3rd full weekend of September, our club puts on a cat show which is open to the public. All breeds are welcome. Owners of non-pedigreed cats are also invited to come show off their beautiful cats. (click here for more information about our past shows)
