• The political organization of Hibernia is as follows: settlement → county → province → confederate high state.

 

• The provincial borders were determined from pre- existing tuatha boundaries. Each province is the descendant of the old representational territories of the five High Chiefs.

 

•The Isles surrounding Hibernia Proper were once territories of the pre confederated independent provinces. They are now counties within their associated provinces.

Eirennia Scotia is a confederation of five provinces: Cimarron, Gallia, Kerry, St. Padraig, and St. Brienard (often spelled St. Bernard). Each province is the result of a long evolution beginning with individual family clans and ending with the alliance of powerful tuathas, or tribes of clans.

 

Each province has it's own culture and history that when combined creates the rich history of Hibernia. The map below defines the political boundaries of the five provinces and provides images often associated each province.

 

Cimmarron, the largest province, is well known for its beauty. The province is sparsely populated. Its capital, Toscania, is more of a rustic trade village than at city. A large percentage of Cimmarron is protected from both private and public development as natural reserve.

Gallia is known as the Hibernian wine country. Gallia’s capitol, Gibaltar, is easily recognizable because of unique location on the side of a steep coastal mountain. Gallia is known for its breathtaking shear seaside cliffs. Cape Suzette is actually a fjord that, remarkably, is only accessible by a narrow passage between the cliff walls.

Kerry is the agrarian center of Hibernia. Forty eight percent of all domestic produce comes from Kerry. Avia Marias, Kerry’s capital city, is considered one of the most pleasant cities in Hibernia. Kerry is well known for its pristine southern beaches known as the “Hibernian Riviera.” Kerry is a province of dualities. Central and northern Kerry is known for it's strong conservative views, however southern Kerry is the most liberal area in Hibernia.

St. Brienard is the industrial heart of Hibernia It’s capital, Emerald Bay, is home to one of the busiest ports in Hibernia. St. Brienard is also home to some of the largest regiments in the Eirennia Scotia Army. Port Moresby is home to the largest military and corporate research facilities in Hibernia. 

St. Padraig is home to, Avalon, the largest city and capitol of Eirennia Scotia. Avalon is the oldest city in Hibernia and considered by many to be the most beautiful. Naturally, St. Padraig is the heart of Hibernian culture and society and has been since the first inhabitance arrived several millennia ago. The most popular festivals, carnivals, parades, and conventions are held at Avalon.
