July 17, 2000 - Here I Am
The page hasn't been updated much these days. First of all, I don't seem to be able to play as much EQ, and secondly, I'm not working my desk job at which I sometimes had all night to play on the internet. It was there that I did a lot of work on this page in the past. Whether or not you see a lot of Murjab on EQ, though, I'm still very much a part of the world of Norrath, of course, and haven't forgotten any of my Old Chaps, even if I still don't have a picture of you in my friends section. I have been playing some of my other characters a bit, too, and have been hanging out a lot with my guild, the Fire Beetles. Now, Murjab's still with Dark Carnival, but me and some of my Fire Beetle friends started up this guild for our secondary characters, although some of us have our main ones in there. It's wacky, it's fun, it's (usually) unanonymous, it's not obsessed with loot and exp, and we swarm over our enemies as good Fire Beetles should. Actually, I don't do much swarming, since my guys tend to be a lot lower in level than the majority of the Beetles, hehe. Anyway, the Fire Beetles web page is in teh works, I hear, but for now we have a message board, which can be found through a link in my Links section.

June 18, 2000 - Happy Birthday Murjab!
Well, I must update the page today, for today is the one year anniversary of Murjab! Yes, little Murjab was both in West Freeport, on June 18, 1999, and yahoo, it's time to celebrate my big #1! Also, I've discovered that today is also, (according to Mansor), Thuro's b'day. Interestingly enough, yesterday, June 17, was both Mansor's and Elkrum's birthday.

May 5, 2000 - Wow, a bleedin' update!
Wow, so I'm finally updating the page again! Hehe, I missed one day and broke my streak, and then just kept putting off the updates. Guess it was easier once there was no more streak to worry about. But anyway, to to various reasons, (some explained more fully on the message board), I had taken a short little break from EQ, but it looks like I'm back now. I've got my expansion CD, too, and have just gone on my first trip to Kunark. Took awhile, taking various boats, then I hung around the dock in Kunark and begged for a bind like a newbie for quite a long time, then joined Machieaveli and Bayere on a trip to the City of Mist. I found out that autofollowing someone at full speed into a deep chasm might not have been the most prudent decision, but it turned out to be a rather amusing experience. As it turns out, a lot of guild members ended up in the City of Mist, too, and we had a fun time beating down stuff in a new dungeon experience.

April 26, 2000 - More pics
Hehe just stopped in EQ for a few minutes to see what was going on today. I still haven't gotten my expansion CD in the mail yet, and I have noticed that it is now available in stores in my city, so at least the expansion has reached my city, if not me just yet...
I had a few screenshots uploaded to the web site already, but now I finally got around to linking them to the Screenshot Gallery. I have two pics sent in by Elkrum, one of his pet dino and one of a rather unusual Dorn B`Dynn. I also put up one I took of drunken guard fighting. April 25, 2000 - This and that
Arr, still haven't gotten the expansion in the mail! Ah, well, had some fun today, grouping with Babwin and Justinea to fight a single Freeport guard over and over again. The exp was so slow, haha, but it didn't really matter much. I'm level 50. Of course, I need to be getting level 51 and on until 60 once I get the expansion. If only I could take a break from the need to always level up, but I wanna be the "highest level" and I wanna get all my songs, hehe.

April 24, 2000 - Expansion Day
Well, today was the day of the EverQuest expansion! I don't even have it yet though, hehe. Now there's people who are level 51, so I'm not tied for the highest level anymore, hehe. Ah, well, it was great to be tied for the top with level 50 while I could be. Hopefully I'll be getting the expansion soon, though.

April 23, 2000 - After so, so long, I have finally reached Level Fifty!
I made it. After a bit over 70 days of playing time since June, I have finally made level 50! I amanged to do it before the expansion, too, which makes it exciting to know that I'm the highest level player for at least a little while, I think. As a Human bard, too, I wonder if maybe I am the first Human bard on the Rallos Zek server to reach 50. I know Windham is close, and found out about anotehr Human bard who is pretty high up there, but dunno for sure if I'm the first, hehe. Doesn't matter all that much, it's just great to finally be level 50! I'm rambling I suppose now. I have gotten a little bit of exp sicne levelling, but I ended up spending hours and hours today in North Freeport, chatting with tons of friends, meeting some new people, and seeing some old pals. Hehe, EQ is like IRC, but with some fighting every now and then. I also have a lot of screenshots to put up, but I;m too lazy to right now, hehe. Yahoo, Level Fifty!

April 22, 2000 - Almost 50!
Less than a bubble to level 50!!! Gotta go do something, but then I plan to get back on and get 50, woo hoo!

April 21, 2000 - Wacky Screenshot
Well, I have updated the Screenshot Gallery, adding a really funny screenshot donated by Babwin. Apparently, the tree being held by the giant is one of our good friends!
It's April 21! This page has now been up, since March 21, and though it's not at all one of the best sites on the world wide web, I've had a lot of fun with it.

Just got level 49 today. One more level to 50. 5 more bubbles.

April 20, 2000 - Added an EverQuest Dictionary of sorts
I added my own EverQuest Dictionary to my Articles section. The EQ Dictionary contains a few of the common terms used in the lands of Norrath, and hopefully, I'll expand on it, if I'm not too lazy.

April 19, 2000 - Well, not much of an update today
Well, today I didn't get to pack in all that much EQ... Logged on for just a little bit, but managed to get my exp bar to move after fighting a coupla guards or so. I do have some news things in store for an update, but I think I'll wait to post 'em up for now.

April 18, 2000 - Lower Guk Song Strategy Fun
Today I spent hours in Lower Guk, trying out a variety of song styles. It's so nice to have different ways of effectively combining songs. The ability to use different strategies helps prevent boredom. Anyhow, I ended up getting my own Ykesha, and a nice amount of exp as well. Funny thing is, after getting the Ykesha, I was having so much fun with a song strategy that called for the use of my lute, that I haven't even used the sword yet. Grouping today was pretty fun, as I got to group with a lot of old friends as well as some cool new people. Also, earlier this morning at work, I created pages to display my already-uploaded pics from my first trips to teh Plane of Fear and the Plane of Hate. Check them out in my Screenshot Gallery.

April 17, 2000 - hail an update

April 16, 2000 - Level 48!
Well, got myself level 48, and my new song, which is a great DoT, and lowers attack speed. It's area effect, too, which makes it great on multiple baddies, but really hard on bards who play on PvP servers. Such a nice song, sad to know that it won't be too useful in planes and such. I also picked up my level 45 song, a targetable buff, I think. Too bad my skill in brass intruments completely sucks. Today was fun, though, with the levelling, and fighting Freeport Militia and lots of Lower Guk baddies.

April 15, 2000 - Plane of Hate
Well, last night/this morning was another planes adventure for me, this time my first visit to the plane of hate. The fact that bard loot is one of the big drops in hate made this trip a bit more exciting, heh, but I didn't get anything this time. Actually, when I first went up, it was so packed with people that it was quite frustrating, but eventually things settled down a bit.

April 14, 2000 - Murjab enters the planes!
For the first time, I have stepped into the realm of the planes... Thanks to teh fact that I got off work last night, I was able to join my guild in a rather fun adventure in the plane of fear. I have screenshots, of course, but I'm too lazy to post them right now. Oh, and I got a nightmare hide to wear... might not be that great, but it's my first plane loot and at least has a high AC than my usual cloth cape.

April 13, 2000 - Today's excuse for an update

April 12, 2000 - Today's excuse for an update
Well, let's see, I do have stuff I can put up, and have some fixin' up of the web page to do, but I think I'll save that for tommorrow's update, which I'll probably start on soon after midnight anyway. All this OOC stuff getting in the way of my EQ, when the time's come to really start tryin' to get level 50 before the expansion comes out. I'd like to be the highest possible level in EverQuest for a few moments, at least, before the level limit is changed to 60. I'm more than halfway done with level 47, but the clock's a tickin'... I'm bound to wander into the planes and lose some exp before the expansion, though. Guess we'll have to see what happens.

April 11, 2000 - More Updatin'
The Screenshot Gallery was getting so full of pics that it was taking awhile to load up, so I finally revamped it and divided the screenshots into a few different sections.

April 10, 2000 - Updatin'
I have added a nifty screenshot of Elkrum submitted by Kondor. You can see it in the Screenshot Gallery. I've also updated the links section to include Norrath Geographic, a rather humorous page featuring the exploits of the infamous Ilsen and Badmartigan. There's even an appearance by me, and despite some amusing cracks about my webpage, Norrath Geographic could very well be the only webpage out there that has done me the favor of creating a link to this site of mine.

April 9, 2000 - The Ralf getting married?
Well, I didn't do too much today. but I did hear tell that good ole Ralfein has made plans for his wedding. Hopefully, I'll get more info on this up as his big day approaches.

April 8, 2000 - Freeport guards, and various PKs
Well, had some fun fighting the Freeport milita in a big ole group today. Lots of PK antics going on, hehe. Normally, I might not be too eager to mention any beat downs I get, but I found this particular request to be very amusing. (Okay, the .jpg didn't come out so well, but if you aren't able to make out the blue text, it's basically just Ilsen and Badmartigan attackin' me, heh.)

April 7, 2000 - Murjab has visited Halas!
Well, finally, after long last, I have visited the city of Halas, located up in the northern lands of Everfrost. It's a rthaer interesting city, too, and the snow-covered lands of Everfrost are just wonderful! Hehe, before I see all the cool new graphics of the expansion, I might as well see more of the graphics of the original lands of Norrath.

April 6, 2000 - A small update
Well, I just have played a bit o' EQ today, hunting guards, not much to talk about. I added a pic of Kondor to the Friends section today, though.

April 5, 2000 - Woo hoo, 47!
Well, got myself level 47 today! Also, Babwin sent in a pic, which I have now posted in the Screenshot Gallery.

April 4, 2000 - Added some Top Ten lists
I just fixed up some Top Ten lists, which I have put in the Articles section because I'm too lazy to make a seperate "Top Ten" section right now. I've included Top Ten Begging Methods and Top Ten Reasons to be a Newbie PK.

April 3, 2000 - More than halway past 46!
Not too much to report, just been fighting those corrupt Freeport guards again. Passed the halfway mark of level 46, so perhaps I'll be able to make level 47 soon. We'll have to see. Hehe, it's almost midnight, but I wanted to stick in an update before the day was over.

April 2, 2000 - Got me new song, and joined in some fun groups
Well, I had some fun today, hunting around... Some in Lower Guk, and a lot in East Freeport. Hehe, some fun grouping in East Freeport where we doled out many beat downs. Ooh, and I have almost two bubbles or so, I think, into 46 already! After being 45 for so long, 46 is so, so nice, and I love my new Tuyen's Chant of Frost song that I got today, too!

April 1, 2000 - I freaking levelled!!!
Yes folks, I finally, finally climbed out of level 45 to reach... level 46.
Today, I've updated the Murjab FAQ, the Screenshot Gallery, and the Friends section.
Today was quite action-packed, I must say. I fought a bit with those Gnomes, and then ran along to join my guild in Mistmoore. We managed to get that hilt for Mansor's Soulfire quest, and hopefully we can help him complete the quest soon. We also ran around in places I hadn't been in Mistmoore, and I was even able to pick up a gypsy lute. We did a rather nice job of smacking up plenty of the Mistmoore baddies in this little adventure. After the Mistmoore attack, I ended up back at the Gnomes again, when I was called by my good pal Talthan to join him and his guild Ordo Malleus in Sol B, where we were going to fight the Efreeti. So, along with the great people of Ordo Malleus, we tropped along through parts of Sol B in which I had never been before, all the way to the Efreeti's room, where we fought for many hours, and where I got my level 46. It was rather awesome, too. With about a group and a half, we put the beat down on everything we came across, and none of us ended up on the receiving end of a beat down at all. Very few groups I've ever been in come close to the level of play that I was a part of there, especially in fighting such relatively high level baddies. Anyway, it was very fun. Later on, I ended up back at the Gnomes, and now I have about half a bubble or so into 46!

March 31, 2000 - Camped Gnomes
Haha, tried to get a few minutes of expin' in at the Gnomes today... Tons of campers! So I just chatted with friends for a few minutes and then logged off to take care of some stuff. Now it's late! It's past 7 pm and I'm rather tired, (been up since before midnight) Crazy schedule... Can't wait untill the summer! Oh well, this is a pretty pathetic update, but so far I've done some kinda update everyday since I made this site, and while I will most likely start slacking off with this page at some point soon, at least I'm doing something with it now. So here's this little rambling in my news section for now. I might have some more stuff to put up here soon, tomorrow perhaps. Of course, I still hope to get more screenshots. Sticking up a screenshot is an easy excuse for an update anyhow.

March 30, 2000 - Gnome guards, and Ralfein strikes again
Well, I didn't want to lose faction, but I've ended up having some fun little skirmishes with the Gnomish guards in search of exp. Well, the exp bar is moving, which, during level 45, is the sign of very nice exp, so I think I may end up keeping this up for a bit. Hey, I love Gnomes of course... It's more of a, "let's have us a big brawl" type of thing... All in good fun for both me and the Gnomish guards. Hey, I've gotten my share of beat downs, too. Once, it was really dark and I got turned around the wrong way when trying to zone, and ended up receiving a beat down, and another time, I lost connection, only to come back to rather unpleasant results.

March 28, 2000 - Updates and such
Finally took screenshots of Mansor and Thuro. Check them out in the Friends section. Today wasn't too productive as far as me levelling goes. I made some experience, but ended up losing it, more or less. Man, 45 can be annoying.

March 27, 2000 - Updates and a guild merger
Added pics of Supr, Chosen, and Ralfein to the Friends section. The big news for today is the merger of my old guild, The Silent Blade, with Dark Carnival took place early this morning, (in my time zone, at least). It seems to be a promising new turn of events, and I hope to have some exciting new adventures with my fellow Carnies.

March 26, 2000 - Updates, wandering for exp, a silly naked PK, and a good time at the pub

Yesterday was quite an adventure. Faldroff and I traveled around the whole eastern area of Antonica, trying to find a good hunting ground. Hours later, we eventually settled down in a group fighting the nasty ole Freeport Militia. As far as the Murjab Levelling Report goes, I'm happy to say that I now havw over three bubbles of exp into 45... 46 may be far away, but it's drawing closer. Oh, yeah, I wandered into North Freeport, where I saw, *gasp*, another Hummie bard. That's right, Santir, who apparently is a member of the Darkenbane crowd. I stood pondering the fellow for a bit, when, heh, he decided to initiate an attack on me. He didn't seem to be wearing any armour or weilding any weapons, which seems kind of odd. Maybe he just felt like messing around, (I get that way sometimes when I have no loot on me to lose), or maybe he thought I was AFK or soemthing. Anyway, I proceeded to beat up on him until he slowly escaped to the guards. Oh, and later on, I was able to relax with an ineteresting group of storytellers in Tassel's Tavern in North Freeport.

March 25, 2000 - Beat downs in Lower Guk, and Salazin's new web page
Yesterday, was a big exp-gaining, exp-losing brouhaha in Lower Guk, (where I did end up gaining exp after it was all over). I'm just a bit past 45 and a half... far, far, far away from 46 still... In other news, good ole Salazin has decided to make himself a web page, too! So go support my buddy by visiting Sal's Site.

March 24, 2000 - Bit of updating, server downtime, and a brand new lowbie
Just a quick update on what's happening, (which isn't too much...another long downtime. At least that gives people a chance to visit my messageboard.) There's still a lot I want to do with this page, including the EQ quotables section, (which I've played around with, but isn't ready quite yet, I think). Made some minor adjustments, and added Manx's pic to the Friends section. In the meantime, when the lands of Norrath have been opened, I've been learning how to pull from Unrest, (yeah, I may have missed the Unrest boat, so to speak, as far as pulling for my own exp goes...except my lowbies might find this info valuable), as well as trying out yet another EQ class in one of my many little lowbies.

March 23, 2000 - Long ole article added
I was chatting with Elk yesterday about possible expansion songs for bards, and decided to write an article on Ponderings on Bards in the Expansion.
Ok, I saw this hilarious mock-advertisement dealing with EQ beggars. You should hopefully be able to find it on EQ Druids.

March 22, 2000 - A bit more updating, and fixing of the message board link
Well, seems there's been some confusion as to the message board. I've made the link to the message board easier to get to, I hope, (even though a few people had managed to find it before). So anyway, go there and leave a message! It's no excuse not to, even if you've already left several. Hehe. I added some stuff to the FAQ, and went into the lands of Norrath and got a screenshot of Smitte.

March 22, 2000 - Murjab roams Norrath for screenshots, and gets beaten down by a bloody sand giant!
A buncha new screenshots....check out the Friends section. I travelled all around, running into friends and getting their pics yesterday. I had the notion to get a funny pic of me charming a sand giant, so I was just fooling around in Oasis, when I noticed that it had beaten quite a bit of health out of me. By the time I realized I should probably start running, the bloody thing kept stunning me....bah, embarrassing. Heh, bet it coulda made a humorous screenshot, though.

March 21, 2000 - New web page!

Well, just set this page up, so there's not much real news other than that.
