| Botanical Park - Wheelchair Park The Wheelchair Park is a planned area that would have two locations. The main park is will be next to the main parking area covering an area about 800 sqm. The walking trails would be brick paved with hand rails. The park will have features that are seen elsewhere throughout the botanical park. The second area would be situated within the vineyard using an existing rock outcrop with similar features as the larger park. Construction is due to commence in 2008 and be completed sometime in 2010, with most of the time spent waiting for the plants to grow because the areas that will become the wheelchair park have very poor soil, and this will test our growing techniques. Some plant breeding has already started, with some native shrubs and orchids for the area. |
