| We use the Treasury of Literature reading series by Harcourt Brace. There are 5 basal readers. Your child will receive a "Take-Home" book every Friday along with a list of vocabulary words that will be found in the book. Each Take-Home book goes with a story in the "Big Book." (We call the basal reader the big book.) When we are finished reading each basal, your child will be tested on the vocabulary words from that basal. There will be 5 key word tests for the year. |
