| Executions in the Reign of Terror were extremly harsh. In average, about fifty lives would be lost at the hands of the guioteen. Many of whom were accused of treason. If it was a father of a family that would be executed, his family would be arresed, or they also would be beheaded. About two hundred thousand people were arrested, and among these numbers, about twenty thousand were executed . This was perhaps one of the worst times in French history. |
