| We had a great but short time with Mrs. Studdard's class last 2 weeks. They kind of got gypped in terms of time. Only 7 days of instruction for 2 weeks! We still crammed in a ton of reading, discussion and of course, paper mache maps! Look for their paper mache projects displayed on the atrium big screen or here (student work) in the future! Our class will be finishing American Indians these two weeks and also discovering "the first explorers." This week: We'll be finishing up Chapter 2 and reviewing for the Unit 1 assessment on either Tuesday or Wednesday. I always have "extended study" novellas (little books) for students who want to extend their learning. Subjects vary from "Poor Richard" to "Westward Ho". This week's study is "Tracing the Anasazi".
