God has provided Mountain Faith Mission with a doctor and pastor of the church in LaBoule by the name of Dr. Charles Ringjour. Dr. Ringjour is Haitian and could have come to America but he said he feels God has called him to LaBoule. He travels through the mountains with a backpack full of medicine seeing about 60 patients a day.

Satanic worship and voodoo is practiced extensively in Saut D'eau. In fact, Saut D'eau is referred to as "Satan's Throne on Earth." The lady who sold the Carrolls (founders of Mountain Faith Mission) their property was taken out into the streets by the devil worshippers and stomped to death. During the month of July, satanic worshippers from all over the world come to Saut D'eau, where the missionaries live, to practice voodoo. On Good Friday, many come to celebrate the death of Jesus Christ. However, many are now being converted to Christ.
