| 'Mushrooms', 2000. these mushrooms were growing in our front-yard after a few days of rain. They grow rather quickly and I remember being excited every day at seeing them grow. I had to lie on the grass to take this shot. |

| 'Strige', 2000. coloured pencil on thin cardboard. striges are mythological creatures. Also known as succubi, they typically took the shape of the human female form in order to seduce young men while they slept, and then drink their blood. Part of my Vampire project. Definitely one of my favourite drawings. |
| 'Titus' Daughter,' 2001. oil pastels on paper. If you've seen Titus, you might remember his poor daughter who, caught between vengeful parties, had her hands cut off by her father's enemies and in their place, tree branches were placed in the stumps. pretty gross, i know, but interesting film if you get your hands on it. |
