CAPTION: International Children's Bible and The Young Reader's Bible
(Photo taken by Emily Morris)
Two different bibles are used to teach this class level. The Follow the Bible curriculum guide uses the "The Young Reader's Bible " (link to Amazon source here). The teacher uses this bible to read the Bible story each week and reproducible pages in the curriculum guide correspond to this Bible version.
The second bible used is the "International Children's Version" of the Bible. (link to Amazon source here) It is written at a 3rd grade reading level, but it is a full version of the Bible, unlike story bibles. This Bible is what is used when the children practice finding things in the Bible themselves.
