(Statement taken from weekly church bulletin) Children's Ministry mission statementWe strive to create a safe, loving environment where each youth will feel loved and accepted–allowing them to have an opportunity to learn more about themselves and their relationship with Jesus Christ and others. The youth will grow spiritually, emotionally, mentally, and socially as they understand the importance of making God a part of their daily lives through hearing, reading, memorizing, and applying God’s Word to their daily activities. Ultimately, our mission is to help the youth develop an understanding of their need for a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Approved by the Church Board of Elders November 7, 2005 Vision StatementWe believe that our Youth Program is a foundation block for the growth of our church–both spiritually and numerically. By having a great percentage of our current youth becoming involved in activities, our desire is that adults will also become more active and that new youth and adults will be attracted to our church as we continue to implement quality programs in a loving atmosphere. As this occurs, our main purpose and prayer is that the youth and adults will develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and that they would become faithful, mature followers and servants of Him.
