Hotaru is the daughter of the evil Dr. Tomoe. As a normal teenager, Hotaru was weak and often sick but as Sailor Saturn she had a powerful explosive attack called the Silence Glaive Surprise. Sailor Saturn also uses her healing ability to help the other Sailor Senshi. Her power to heal made her a target at school, the other students thought she was gross. Hotaru's dream was to someday become a nurse or a doctor. After an accident in her father's laboratory, Hotaru's body was possessed by the evil Mistress Nine. The weirdest thing about her is she's the only Sailor Scout who kept her original Japanese name. Her best friend is Chibi Usagi.
