02 Moonlight
A gain, this is a very famous piece, which is well known for its first movement, very beautiful indeed. But the "Presto Agitato" finale is as great as the first movement.
This is in fact a quasi fantasia, using the same theme throughout the three movements (for I haven't study it closely yet, I cannot see any trace of the use of that theme in the second movement. The first movement is really beautiful. The suspensions are beautifully used. If you listen it closely, you may feel the anxious of Beethoven. With the use of pedal, the central part acts like a cloud, slightly covering the melodic moon.
I dont know how many people are moved And, you may feel the clouds are actually moving but not stagnant if you listen. The bass make up the dark background of the night-time sky. somebody says the second movement is the bridge of rainbow, linking up the movements... Well, as I haven't study it closely yet, I have little to say about this. Generally, I think it's kind of a place you can take some rest and prepare for the finale. The third movement is great~! It gives you a anxious feeling, and at the same time, it is as wild as a rainstorm, and yet, it has a stable pulse, noticing you that it is not being totally wild yet. Overall, this movement is brilliant!
