The Norman MOMS Club chapters decided to plan, coordinate and sponsor this event to accomplish four outcomes:

• To raise much needed funds for the Children's Section of the Norman Public Library.
• To provide a fun and informative event for children and families in Norman.
• To provide a way for young children to learn about and become more familiar with emergency service vehicles and their staff as well as other “truck-based” professions.
• To increase awareness of the services of both the public library and of MOMS Club to families that may be underserved by these organizations.
