22/03/07: Wassup mobb fans! I'm sure your all aware of the imminent album / mixtape about to be released by P, Return of the Mac. To be honest with you, I can't wait until this is released, having heard "New York Shit / Return of the Mac", "Mac 10 Handle", "Stuck to You", I can say this mixtape is going to be fire. It's no surprise really since the Alc is behind the beats, the only surprise is Prodigy's flow. It really seems he's got his swagger back, this is clear to see on "Mac 10 Handle". Unfortunately our server's are down, that means no audio or video. I'm trying to sort the problem out.
21/07/06: Yo, how you doing guys, I've got that much hyped "Nightmares" ft 50 Cent track from Mobb Deep, it never made it on to Blood Money. This was the track that Havoc claimed would be a rip roaring hit, produced by Dr. Dre none the less. However it's nothing special to be honest and the track that many thought was Nightmares renamed, Daydreamin, is a lot better. Any how I have the track ready for download as always in the audio section. 14/07/06: Hey wassup, I can't believe this is the first time I've posted this year! Sorry guys, well as you already know Mobb Deep have just dropped "Blood Money". My thoughts on the album are as follows, although many claimed that the G - Unit influence would not bare weight on the album significantly (as I thought), I'm afraid you were wrong. I mean apart from Mary J. Blige the only other features on the album are all by G - Unit members, not even Big Noyd who is like the 3rd member of Mobb Deep is on the album, I found that astonishing. The lead single is a hit, no doubt, "Put Em' In Their Place" is deffinately a banger, much like "Got It Twisted" from Amerikaz Nightmare was. This however is the peak of the album, although songs like "Smoke It" and "In Love With The Moula" grow on you, it's just not what you expect from a Mobb Deep album. It's too bogged down by the Unit and its hard to see where the next single from this album will come, if any. To sum this album up, its mediocre, and having to use that word makes me sad. I expected this to be better than Amerikaz Nightmare, but it's not, in fact its just on par with it, just.
19/09/05:
Wassup people, I've put a new track for downlaod in the audio section.
It's called "What We Do" by the Kray Twinz ft Twista, Lethal B
and Gappy Ranks. Personally I think it's great that the Kray Twinz are
getting noticed. They've been around for a long time in the U.K. working
behind the scenes producing, in both Bhangra and Rap music. They were the
brains behind the Punjabi MC track "Mundia To Bach Ke" (also
known as "Beware of the Boys"), you American fans may be more
familiar with the Jay Z remix. 17/08/05: Hi Mobb fan's, just a reminder you can send your feedback to [email protected] Yes, it's official. Mobb Deep has signed with G-Unit. With the "Outta Control" track being Mobb Deep's christening into the Unit. Now many people think that this a bad move because they've sold out. I've been a Mobb Deep fan for a long time now, and my thought's are the complete opposite. Many say that Mobb Deep fell off when they released "Infamy", personally I thought that was a strong album, Havoc's production was off the scale, the only part that was lacking was Prodigy's flow. "Americaz Nightmare" was a solid album, and you can see how they have progressed by working with other producers, although Prodigy was still struggling with his flow, Havoc really picked the game up lyrically. Everyone who say's there waiting for another "The Infamous" or "Hell on Earth", you'll be waiting for a long time, there won't be another one. Those were classics and can not be repeated, and anyway if you do want another "The Infamous" or "Hell on Earth", why not just listen to the originals hey? Change is a must when it comes to anything in life, and if your not willing to let the Mobb grow and develop then I think your stuck in the past. Simple. Also remember this move is strictly for the money, they've been working with 50 Cent for years. Their supposed signing is just another addition to the G-Unit commercial train. By signing with them, Mobb Deep will finnally get the paper they deserve, cause let's be honest although they cannot beat 50 in the sales department, they can kill him in the talent department. Now that I've stopped ranting and raving, lol, I have the much talked about inaugural Mobb Deep / G-Unit track "Outta Control" ready for download as always in the audio section. Oh and before I leave you, I just had to say, G-Uniiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit. Lol. Peace. 27/06/05: Wow, it's been a long 8 months, you guys may be wondering why I haven't been updating the web site. Simple. I was working, getting that paper! Well anyway let's get back up to speed with all that is M.O.B.B. As you may have already heard Mobb Deep has been dropped by JIVE Records, this is mainly due to the fact that "Amerikaz Nightmare" shifted less than 500,000 units. A great interview is posted on mtv.com, another interesting article that is on mtv.com is the fact that the Mobb may be signing with Interscope/G-Unit records. There are so many division's within Interscope, as in Aftermath/Shady/G-Unit it's all rather confusing (Just look at the back of any 50 Cent CD!). What does this mean for the Mobb? Well if they do sign with G-Unit and affiliate themselves with 50 I think it can only mean good things. I mean the amount of exposure that 50 Cent gets is bound to rub off on the Mobb, and we all know they can make crazy beats. This way they will sell the amount of CD'S they deserve. However I don't like the way 50 inadvertently dissed the Mobb on "Piggy Bank". A great website called hiphopgame.com has a great audio section, with some new Mobb beats, but there's always a catch, you can only hear and not download the track. This is where Mobb Central comes in. "Cobra" is a great track currently being mp3'ed to death, but I'm sure you Mobb fans have already heard that by now so instead I've put up a new track from the Mobb called "What's The Word" featuring the Alchemist. The ALC isn't a bad rapper, and can certainly drop a verse or two, click on the audio section to download. Also look out for our very own GSV dropping his latest track from the forthcoming Mobb Central Mixtape Volume 2. 10/08/04: Shout out to all the Mobb fans out there. Well here it is the album every Mobb Deep fan has been waiting for, "Americaz Nightmare". I just bought it today and have been playing it none stop in my car and home stereo. First thought's? The album is what I expected, it begins slowly but then warms up. It's another classic. I will have a full review up within the week. You can buy the album via hmv.co.uk through our store.
25/07/04: Hi Mobb fans. I have a hot track which is banging in my stereo for you to download. It's the hidden track from Infamous Allegiance PT 1. The track is untitled but I've dubbed it "All Good". Click Here. 20/07/04: Now you may be wondering how our GSV did with his debut mix tape album. Well the truth is the project never left the ground. Unfortunately the suits at Jive Records have banned me from selling the mix tape, however they didn't say anything about letting people download it for free. Now I didn't want good music to go to waste. So that's what I have done, the entire mix tape is available to download for free from the audio section. Click here. 19/07/04: Hello Mobb fans it's been a long month. Family functions have made the time I can spend on Mobb Central limited, but don't worry I will try my best to keep the site up to date. Firstly I would like to discuss the whole situation with Mobb Deep's much anticipated album "Americaz Nightmare". I received an e-mail a while back from a unnamed fan telling me that the album had been pushed back again. Originally set for the 8th of June this fan gave me a 27th of July release date. Unfortunately even this date has been pushed back to 10th of August. This has me wondering will this album ever be released? It was back in mid March that I put "Got It Twisted" up for download, and that track was hot we clocked over 2000 downloads! Still, that seems a decade ago, I just hope Jive get a fucking move on.
02/06/04: You can now buy Mobb Deep's Infamous Allegiance Mix Tape/DVD from our online store. I know it's been out for some time in the states but has only recently been released here in the U.K. Click store above or below.
13/04/04: Mobb fans what's banging! We've just received word from JIVE Records that the Mobb Deep album "Americaz Nightmare" will be released on 06/08/04. If you are American this is interpreted as the 8th of June, however if your British this is the 6th of August! As JIVE are based in America let's hope that its the first date. As you may already know the album was set to be released on the 9th of March but was delayed.
I have also got hold of a better picture of the front cover supplied by hmv.com, it is slightly different from the one JIVE has which Mobb Central bought to you exclusively a month back, check it out. You people really have gone crazy with the downloads it's mad! We've clocked nearly 800 downloads of just "Gangstaz Roll" & "Got It Twisted". Make sure you go and buy the album we wouldn't want to be harming P or Hav's pockets now, and I don't want to be getting e-mails from JIVE! Thank's to all the people who sent us feedback, your words mean a lot to us! Peace. [email protected] 02/04/04: Mobb fans you disappoint me, your lack of feedback has got me bugging! Mail me on this address [email protected] to let me know what you think of the web site. Thank You! We will also be launching our online store very soon. 25/03/04: What's popping Mobb fans, just wanted to throw a thought out to you. Our label Well Tuff Records is currently considering releasing their artist's tracks to buy from our online store (Currently under construction). We just wanted your opinions on this, please e-mail us on [email protected] 16/03/04: More audio for you to download, new track from Americaz Nightmare "Got It Twisted" Click on audio above. 16/03/04: We have new audio for you to download, it includes "One of Your's" from Mobb Deep's up and coming album Americaz Nightmare. Other tracks include "Who It May Concern" & "Wanna Clap Me". A big thank you to real-hiphop.com for supplying the audio, unfortunately they continue to shout "real hip hop dot com" through out the songs. I have tried my best to remove the garbage, so rest assured that the version you download from Mobb Central will be the best available. Just Click on audio above. The album date is up in smoke, although the U.S. date has been confirmed I'm not sure if it available yet. As for the U.K. there is no confirmed date. 15/03/04: mtv.com have given a full track listing of Mobb Deep's new album "Americaz Nightmare" The list is not yet final and is subject to change.
Courtesy: jiverecords.com 09/03/04: The art work for Mobb Deep's latest album has been released. Don't forget to download there track from Americaz Nightmare, "Gangstaz Roll" 05/03/04: Welcome to Mobb Central, we have set up a temporary server. So all audio and video is back up. Download Mobb Deep's first track from Americaz Nightmare called "Gangstaz Roll" from our audio section. We also have a new video of Mobb Deep performing "Get Away" Live! Including "How Many" & "The Sentence" 02/03/04: Although the servers are still down I have decided to release our debut artist's second and third single. Formerly known as the Raw Deal, GSV debuted back in 2003 in July with the track "It's Begun". To this day our server has clocked nearly 400 downloads for GSV's debut track, and when you add all the exclusive Mobb Deep tracks we offered the figure goes to a staggering 2000 downloads! The new tracks are called GSV - The Sentence, and GSV - How Many You can personally request the track's by e-mailing me at [email protected] Although you cannot download the tracks from our server it is available to download off popular file sharing programs such as Kazaa Lite and WinMX. 25/02/04: The U.S. release date for Mobb Deep's most anticipated title "Americaz Nightmare" has been confirmed at hmv.com It will be released on the 9th of March 2004. So make sure you cop that disc! 20/02/04: Whats happening Mobb Central fan's, just want to apoligise to the people who have been trying to download audio with no success. Unfortunately the plug has been pulled from our server and we can no longer offer audio or video at this time. I am still searching for a new server.
22/01/04: Server is back up!, you can now download all the media we have available. Don't forget to check out Raw Deal's - It's Begun, and the DJ GSV remix. We also have Mobb Deep lead single from "Americaz Nightmare" for you to download, it's called "Gangstaz Roll". 21/01/04: What's happening, got some bad news I'm afraid. Our multimedia server is down again, so you can not download any music at the moment. A shout out to our regular viewers, thanks for taking the time to visit our site. Drop me a line at [email protected] Our debut artist's Raw Deal and DJ GSV are hard at work making some new tracks for y'all, following their debut tracks, once we get our server sorted we will have there new material up for download as usual. If you didn't get a chance to hear Raw Deal's and DJ GSV's debut tracks try searching for them on Kazaa Lite or Winmx. Now for some Mobb Deep news, as you know Mobb Deep are set to release there latest album in February, titled "Americaz Nightmare", until then you should check out their lead single from the album, "Gangstaz Roll", not a bad track. You Mobb fans will love it but the average fan may see it as nothing special. Once our audio section is back up I'll post the new track on there.
05/11/03: Mobb Central and Well Tuff Records proudly present Raw Deal's debut track, "It's Begun". Raw Deal drops a chilling verse over Mobb Deep's legendary beat The Learning/Burn. 02/10/03: Finallly some good news! Our server is back online. This means that our debut artist the Raw Deal will have his material on this site within a few weeks so keep your eyes peeled! The audio section is also back up. 29/08/03: More bad news I'm afraid Mobb fans, Well Tuff Records debut artist the Raw Deal's album has been delayed by 2 months. The reason being that the server that stores our audio to download has gone down and has been down for nearly 4 months. I'm still waiting for people on there side to resolve the situation. At this moment in time I am not sure if the server will go back up. For this reason I am already making plans to set up a new server which will house all the exclusive Mobb Deep material, and of course the downloadable album in production by the Raw Deal. The album should be available for download by October - November time.
05/07/03: Word up IMD fans, Mobb Central has given birth to its first artist, his name is Raw Deal. His first album named "Hit'em for a Six" will see him dropping new vocals on classic tracks such as DMX's "X Gon Give It To Ya", and also Mobb Deep's "Burn". He has signed to Mobb Central's record label, "Well - Tuff Records". The album will feature roughly 6 to 7 remixed tracks and will be available exclusively to download from Mobb Central in the coming weeks. Keep your eyes peeled. 04/07/03: Bad news people, unfortunately the servers down and all our audio material is currently unavailable. I am working as hard as I can to rectify the problem, please give me a week or 2. 01/07/03: Whoa!, it's been a hectic 4 months. Sorry people I haven't been able to update the site recently, I've been doing my final exams and there just finishing now. I will now be updating the site hopefully every week or 2 weeks so keep checking back. I hope you bought Mobb Deep's latest offering, Free Agents. It's one hell of a CD, the tracks that stand out for me? Definitely Narcotic, the beat is chilling. Other bangers include previously unreleased Tha Illest by Hav, Hav N P 4 President (renamed paid in full) and also a remixe of survival of the fittest.
28/03/03: The latest Mobb news is kind of slow, as most Mobb fans will know Mobb Deep are releasing a Mix Tape called Free Agents, the release date in America is 22 April, however U.K. release date's are not yet known. The Mix Tape will be a double CD, featuring some freestyles over old songs and some unreleased tracks, some of which are already featured in our audio section. The usual suspects will be on the album, Noyd, Infamous Mobb, Littles, Cormega but still no Nas, (Mobb Deep and Nas havn't worked together since Nas recorded Destroy & Rebuild, draw up your own conclusion). In the mean time I have put a classic in the audio section, My personal favourite track from H.N.I.C. Gun Play. Click on audio above. 17/02/03: How ya doing Mobb fans, Mobb Central is now proudly sponsored by Purple Stud Animation, they just recently made a cool animation about P, check them out by clicking here. 22/10/02: Easy now, rare its been 3 months since the last update, you know what, news is so hard to come by! Anyways the BIG news that's recently been in the Mobb Deep headlines is that Loud Records is going under. How much truth there is in that is unsure, they were reported to be struggling financially. For this reason Mobb Deep may be joining Columbia Records a Sony Company. Lets just look at the facts, when the rumour's first came about loud.com was a mere shell of its former self which led me to speculate that they were going to shut down, however the "shell" is still there. Then when I began looking for Mobb Deep videos I found that there official video for get away was under columbiarecords.com. Confused, so was I, but after thinking about it I came up with the conclusion that Columbia was going to take over Loud, and therefore officially Mobb Deep would be with Columbia. After recently looking at the web site my theory was proved right, when you log on to loud.com you have a navigation bar belonging to.........yes you guessed it Columbia Records. 27/06/02: Mobb Central is open for business, the greatest in news and information for the I.M.D. Infamous Mobb Deep. All the pages are still in production so be patient y'all. Come to expect the best from Mobb Central as we bring you the low down on everything MOBB DEEP. We'll bring you the latest news, album reviews, lyrics, pictures, interviews, audio, video everything. Send all feedback to: [email protected]
