"The Mobb Dynasty apparently you thought is was some other type", a quote from Night Time Vultures. These native Queensbridge artists have been on the scene now for nearly a decade, they released their first album juvenile hell in the early 90's. This was stereotyped as the "ghetto album" by some people, as it focused on live in the slums. It was a success but not a massive success.

They set their aims higher with their next album, and took the urban scene by storm with the classic "The Infamous....". No doubt this album was huge and was recognized on a massive level, the album included the critically acclaimed "Shook Ones Pt II". I still think this is their best hit to date, as the beat and lyrics are just mind blowing. The less said about the mariah carey remix the better. Another banger was "Survival of the fittest".

The were now faced with the tough task of following The Infamous with another hit album. And they did, with "Hell On Earth". The album featured appearances from Nas, Meth, Raekwon and Big Noyd. The pick of the album for me was Hell On Earth, the beat was just ill.

After making two hit albums they were a familiar face in the American rap scene, however they were unknown in the U.K. They hit a few problems with their next album, "Murda Muzik", it was bootlegged to a ridiculous level. Three copies had hit the street before it made it to the shops causing some songs to be cut out and other set backs. However once the album did hit the stores it was massive!.

After P spent some time on the solo scene he dropped the "H.N.I.C", this received mixed reviews from fans, as they were not used to P rhyming on non-Havoc produced songs.

They then dropped Infamy which had the legendary hit "The Learning/Burn" ft Big Noyd and Vita. This album was a huge hit, "Hey Luv" ft 112 did much to inspire its success, however the hardcore mobb fans felt that they had gone soft. Maybe the Mobb has leaned towards the more establised stars in the rap game recently, but their still doing their own thing and producing ill albums.

Havocs currently working on his solo album, which were all looking forward to.
