| At almost 2 weeks you can see a big difference in the puppies faces and size. Their eyes are beginning open. Their noses are now black and their bodies are starting to fill out. They have more than doubled their birth weight. Most of the time they are quiet and content, sleeping peacefully. However, at night 1 or 2 puppies quite frequently decide they are not happy and don't hesitate to share these feeling - quite loudly. Sometimes they are even sound asleep yet, kicking and squawking over something disturbing them - perhaps a bad dream... They are getting around better now and are able to stand on all fours and take a few steps before comically falling back down as if they were partying a bit too much the night before. |
