WHAT KEEPS ME GOING?

"Nothing without faith!"

Psalm 27:1-5

"The Lord is my light and my salvation
whom shall i fear?
The Lord is the rampart of my life;
I will not be afraid.
When the wicked rush at me to devour my flesh,
it is my foes who stumble, my enemies fall.
Though an army encampagainst me,
I will still be confident.
One thing I ask of the Lord, one thing I seek-
that I may dwell in his house
all the days of my life;
to gaze at his jewel
and to visit his sanctuary.
For he will keep me safe in his shelter
in times of misfortune.
He will hide me beneath his roof
and set me high upon a rock."

There's milk on your hair(Page 4)

Milk rebonding is something to look forward this year. Once again, Filipinos talents and skills, particularly in hairdressing, would be realized. But this involves important factors, which could be realized by the following recommendations.

First, you must understand why you would undergo the process. Is it because you want to be more confident and make you communicate better being a mass communication student? Or you just want to show off and impress the people around you? Or maybe make you feel more socially accepted? Whatever your reasons are, think first of your capabilities and needs, especially on the financial aspect.

Second, for those interested in investing to such business, ask first if you could really make it happen meaning you have the resources and skills needed to provide a good, if not the best service. Yes, you want to be keep up with the trend but remember, dont sacrifice the quality.

Third, for those who are already in the business, you could give lectures and trainings to help those young but talented hairdressers a chance to improve and hone their skills.

Lastly, for the government, try to think and implement ways and measures to not just regulate but also improve these salons. After all, the taxes they will give will help the country. There should be quality control so as to avoid the possible harm and mistreatment salons may bring to clients (and vice versa).

Through the years, society is being open to technologies that focus on improving the physical appearances of Filipinos. Dont think this is bad. There are valid reasons for it. Aside from this, government also obtains benefits through taxes. But keep in mind your reasons. They matter.
